THE LEET-CHRISTOPHER SCHOOLHOUSE
The schoolhouse is from Letcher, South Dakota, and was donated to the Norwegian Emigrant Museum in 2001. It was built in 1882 and is a typical one-room school house, built to serve children of all ages in a widely spread population. It was dismantled and moved to Norway in 2007. It will be restored as funds become available.
